I Write About Abortion Every Day

Here’s where you can find me now.

Hello Medium followers, it’s been a minute since I’ve published here! That’s
because after Roe was overturned, I launched a newsletter dedicated to
tracking anything and everything happening with abortion rights. From bans and ballot measures to anti-abortion strategy and messaging, Abortion, Every Day is on it.

The goal is to provide some order to the chaos, because Republicans think
they can overwhelm us into action. I’m determined to make sure that doesn’t happen. Abortion, Every Day has had some amazing successes over the last two years: The newsletter stopped Alabama’s Attorney General from targeting abortion medication patients, pressured an anti-abortion justice on Arizona’s Supreme Court recuse himself from a case, broke the news that South Carolina Republicans introduced a bill to make abortion punishable by the death penalty, and pushed local stories of women being investigated or prosecuted for miscarriages into the national spotlight.

All of which is to say — you should be subscribing to Abortion, Every Day! I’ll
also be publishing a book based on the work that I’ve done at the newsletter this Fall: Abortion: Our Bodies, Their Lies, and the Truths We Use to Win.
